GOLDEN CHANCE

Rangers Hamilton

Today, 3pm

CONNOR GOLDSON has a chance today to banish his Hamilton ghosts after being haunted by a blunder during lockdown.

Steven Gerrard’s rampant Rangers are looking to maintain a nine-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

There was a gloomier vibe at Ibrox back in March as Accies claimed a shock 1-0 win, with David Moyo firing home the winner after robbing Goldson as the centreback dawdled on the ball.

The defeat left Gers 13 points adrift of eventual champions Celtic in their last domestic game before the shutdown.

Goldson (above) recalled: “We had about 30 shots at goal and about 100 crosses but we couldn’t score. I then made a mistake which haunted me through the whole of lockdown.

“It was one of those nights. At the moment those nights aren’t happening for us.

“We’re a team full of confidence and a team who is winning matches.

“I just feel like we’ve got the know-how in the league to win different games of football.”
