Vote to sail off with top prizes

Don’t miss out on your chance to join in the UK’s 2020 holiday Oscars – voting closes on November 22.

It’s been a challenging year for getaways but the gold standard British Travel Awards are giving the public a chance to support their favourite tourism firms and hope for a kinder 2021.

There’s also a chance to thank the staff of the NHS for their wonderful continuing work in 2020. The Great Big Online Travel Auction gives voters an opportunity to bid for fabulous breaks in an online auction in aid of NHS Charities Together, the official NHS registered charity.

Both public vote for the BTAs and the auction are open until midnight on November 22. For the awards, there are 51 categories, rather than the usual 84, covering the likes of family, wedding and luxury holiday firms, river cruise lines and rail, coach and camping operators.

Consumers can also back those businesses who gave great customer service in this challenging Covid year.

As a thank you for taking part in the biggest consumer-voted programme in the UK – more than 185,000 votes have been submitted so far in the 2020 ballot – everyone who joins in is entered into a draw to win a five-star Nicko river cruise for two on the Danube or Rhine next year.
