SHANE Richie’s son says he’s been on the edge of his seat watching I’m A Celebrity as he fears his dad will make rude jokes about his mum and the Nolan sisters.

Shane Jr – whose mum is Loose Women favourite Coleen – says he’s terrified the former EastEnder will blurt out something offensive or non-PC.

“My parents wear their heart on their sleeves,” said singer Shane

Jr. “They say stuff without thinking that might get them in trouble.

“I do get nervous about what my dad might say. At the end of the day, he’s a 90s comic. What they used to be able to get away with, the sexist comments, you can’t say that stuff any more. Not that he means it or believes it.”

Shane, 31, says the butt of his dad’s jokes are often his mum and her sisters Anne, Denise,

Maureen and Linda. He adds: “When he went into the tunnel with the rats, I was fully expecting him to come out with something like, ‘It’s like being back with the Nolans’. I think he’s stopped himself with a few gags. I could see it in his face.”

Ex Daz soap powder ad man Shane was married to Coleen, 55, for nine years in the 90s and the couple had two sons – Shane and Jake, 28. The couple had a turbulent relationship, plagued by Shane’s cheating.

Shane Jr says his dad – who is now married to wife Christie and has three children with her, Mackenzie Blue, 14, Lolita Bell, 12, and Romani-Skye Angel Shelley, nine – is a different person now.

“Seeing the growth in him is unbelievable,” he says.

“When I see him with my little brother and sisters, he’s the dad he should have always been.”
