Two hot to handle VITAL STATS

- By JANINE SELF at St Andrew’s

MARK ROBINS hailed his awesome twosome after strikers Max Biamou and Tyler Walker put Rotherham to the sword.

Summer signing Walker, son of Nottingham Forest legend Des, scored one and was involved in the fifthminute opener for Biamou (above).

Leo Ostigard then cemented the win with a second-half header.

Sky Blues boss Robins said: “I’m delighted. The two strikers led the line fantastically well.

“We gave them chances to score, which they did. We were disappointed to go in just two up.”

Coventry took the lead with their first attack as Ostigard found Walker who set up Biamou for the final touch.

The visitors were all sixes and sevens seven minutes later as Callum O’Hare hit a post and Walker followed up.

The Sky Blues could have scored more in the first half but Biamou’s overhead kick hit the woodwork, with Millers keeper Jamal Blackman getting the faintest of touches, and it needed a point-blank save to deny Walker.

Ostigard headed home Gustavo Hamer’s cross with 18 minutes left before Kyle Vassell won a late penalty after a collision with Coventry keeper Ben Wilson and Daniel Barlaser scored.

Disappointed Millers boss Paul

Warne said: “We came into this on the back of two good performances playing the same system.

“Robbo matched us up and in fairness they were superior to us in every department, which hurts.”
