Sharon quits after screen racism clash
SHARON Osbourne has quit a US chat show after an on-air clash with a co-host about racism.
Osbourne, 68, defended pal Piers Morgan over his criticism of the Duchess of Sussex’s TV interview.
The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood then accused Osbourne of giving “validation” to “racist” views.
TV network CBS took The Talk off air while it reviewed the bust-up.
On Friday it said the events upset everyone involved – including the TV audience at home.
It said Osbourne’s behaviour “did not align with our values for a respectful workplace”.
It found no evidence to support Osbourne’s claim the controversial discussion had been “orchestrated” by producers.
