Brits in a fog on the Tyne

TWO-THIRDS of people in the country can’t find Newcastle upon Tyne on a map, a survey reveals.

The 68 per cent failure rate was only just ahead of Stoke and Sheffield.

A quarter could not find Cardiff in the Knowledge Academy geography test.

But 72 per cent located Scafell Pike in Cumbria, England’s highest peak.
