Harry: Spurs will have to wait
IN LIMBO Daniel Levy speculation mounting the 27-year-old star striker is planning to quit the club this summer.
Kane has become frustrated at failing to win any trophies after more than a decade at Spurs.
But although he faces a dilemma over his next move he’s vowed uncertainty over his future won’t affect him leading England this summer.
Kane added: “I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on and have a great Euros.
“Look, I try to stay out of that speculation as much as possible. I’m fully focused on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer and then we’ll see where we go from there.”
That’s hardly comforting news for boss Mourinho and Levy even if Kane is under contract until 2024.
Tottenham face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final next month and are pressing for a top-four finish after an erratic season that saw them lose the North
London derby to Arsenal and crash out of the Europa League before the international break.
Kane added: “Obviously the Arsenal game was difficult to take – in a north London derby you never want to lose. And going out of the Europa League was a big disappointment.
“But we bounced back last Sunday with a win and I think when you look at the bigger picture we’re a couple of points off top four and we’ve got a cup final to play.”
