AFC Wimbledon 1 Northampton 0
MARK ROBINSON hailed AFC Wimbledon keeper Nik Tsanev for his last-gasp penalty save.
Joe Pigott (below) scored for the Dons in the 88th minute, but Sam Hoskins had a chance to snatch a point for Northampton with the last kick of the game, only for Tsanev to make a flying save. “I expected the worst, but it’s a fantastic save. It wasn’t a bad penalty. He deserves all the accolades,” said Robinson. Town interim boss Jon Brady said: “If pressure of the occasion gets to you, you shouldn’t be a professional.”
