Grimsby 1 Walsall 1
PAUL HURST admitted the Grimsby Town dressing room had the air of a side that had lost following their score draw with Walsall.
James Hanson gave the home side an early lead, but Caolan Lavery grabbed a point for the Saddlers.
Hurst said: “You would think on any given day if you were invited into the dressing room that we had lost that game.
“The lads felt that it was a chance to win.”
Walsall acting head coach Brian Dutton admitted: “It wasn’t the win I was after.”
