A smile that brings tears to your eyes
The picture of 10-year-old schoolboy Oliver Kelly smiling made my heart jump with joy and brought tears to my eyes.
This little boy, from Leeds, who has Down’s Syndrome, was over the moon because he was at last allowed to go back to school after shielding since March 17 last year.
His mum reported how her son had actually “got dressed in his uniform, packed his bag, put his shoes on and waited in the hall – four days too early”.
I hope you enjoyed seeing your friends and teachers, Oliver.
