Leg it on selfguided walks

Lace up those boots, it’s time to get out and join the Virtual Walking Festival 2021.

Outdooractive.com has launched the virtual event to help festivals such as Bristol, Suffolk and Chepstow by offering selfguided walks.

There are around 50 to choose from which are accessible via their site and the Outdooractive app. Routes can also be printed or exported onto other devices. There will be recommendations for local pubs, cafes and attractions. outdooractive.com

Visit Herefordshire is now vying to become the UK’s capital for blossom, and has produced a hotspots guide and new blossom cycle trail.

The “In the Pink” guide includes a live blossom map, featuring orchard photography, orchard walks (and cider tasting) and recommended picnic spots. It’s the next best thing to touring Japan during its cherry blossom season.
