Fry’s anniversary wish

BARRY FRY wants to celebrate 25 years at Peterborough with promotion to the Championship to banish the hurt of the relegation that “killed” them.

Fry (left) says the pain of their exit from the second tier in 2013 stayed with Posh for years. He said: “We were the unluckiest team to ever be relegated. We had a record number of points and went down on goal difference in the last minute at Palace.

“This is my 25th year at Peterborough and I’m amazed I have lasted this long. Early on, everybody wanted me out!”
