REAL MADRID sounded out a warning to Liverpool with another win which keeps them in the La Liga title hunt.

Ahead of their Champions League quarter-final showdown with the Reds – first leg in Madrid on Tuesday – in-form Real were comfortable winners yesterday – despite seeing THREE goals ruled out by VAR.

Zinedine Zidane’s men are up into second just three points behind Atletico Madrid, who face a tough trip to Sevilla tonight.

Real made light work of Eibar after goals in either half from Marco Asensio and Karim Benzema (left) saw Zidane mark 250 games in charge in style.

Despite three goals being disallowed for offside, a first-half solo finish from Asensio rewarded Real’s dominance.

The win was wrapped up when Benzema headed home for his 18th goal of the season late on.
