Moyes: Pair owe us now

DAVID MOYES remains optimistic stars Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will recognise they ‘owe’ West Ham when the summer window opens. The Hammers chief (below) said: “We were just avoiding relegation last year when we signed Tomas, and Declan Rice was playing in that team.

“So, to suddenly turn around and say we need to make the Champions League to keep them… well, I think those boys would be saying a massive ‘thank you’ to West Ham if they stayed.

“I don’t see making it into the Champions League has to be the only reason we can keep them.”
