DANNY WILLETT’S DANGER HOLES

■■ I would sign for par every day for the rest of my life on this hole. I hit a driver here and depending on the wind, you can have anything from 140 all the way to 190 into this hole. When the pin is on the front, you can have a nice club in. If the pin is on the back, it is a small area of green and 30 yards further.

■■ For most guys this will be wedge or 9-iron but it depends on the wind. I have hit a 7-iron in there before and hit a gap wedge when it has been down wind. It is a really treacherous hole purely because the shorter the club you hit, the more spin you put on the golf ball and the more difficult it is.

If you get a good drive around the corner, you take a 6-iron in. I have seen guys like Bubba (Watson) and Bryson (DeChambeau) hit stupid clubs in there when they get it going around the corner. Most people, if they hit a really good drive, will take a or 4-iron or 5-iron, depending how tight you want to go to the left.
