Fresh police inquiry into party death
MOST of the eight guests at Michael Barrymore’s home the night of a tragic pool party have been questioned, police have said.
But it remains unclear if the TV host has been spoken to as part of a fresh investigation into the 2001 death of Stuart Lubbock.
Essex Police said: “We have contacted most of the guests from the party at which Stuart died and we continue to urge them and anyone else to come forward with information that may assist the inquiry.”
Last month, a 50-yearold man was arrested in connection with the death of Mr Lubbock, 31.
His body was found in the pool of Mr Barrymore’s home in Roydon, Essex.
The former Strike It Lucky host, 68, has always denied any involvement.
