High on floor cleaner

PRISONERS are risking death with DIY drugs made with bleach and floor cleaner, a jail report has revealed.

Guys Marsh, a Category C jail near Shaftesbury, Dorset, suffered 845 medical incidents linked to DIY versions of the so-called zombie drug Spice.

The Independent Monitoring Board report said: “Chemical content included bleach, floor cleaner and even petrol.

“A particularly dangerous batch was responsible for a period of the most serious incidents in late July. The quick action of all staff involved saved lives.”

The Prison Service has increased drug testing and security.
