Watson will be minus banned forward Joe Greenwood and injured captain Aidan Sezer.
Leigh coach John Duffy warned: “The Cup means a lot to this club, though it’s 50 years since we last won it and 100 since the first time.
“It’s been a tough Super League start for us – but we’re learning every week.”
