GLAMORGAN’S hopes of a surprise win over County Championsh­ip Group Three favourites YORKSHIRE were hit by SNOW.

The Welsh side lead by 298, following an unbeaten half-century by Billy Root.

WARWICKSHI­RE’s Oliver Hannon-Dalby took all five wickets in DERBYSHIRE’s second innings to leave them 71-5, 39 runs ahead.

HAMPSHIRE leg-spinner Mason Crane’s six wickets in the match turned the screw against LEICESTERS­HIRE, who trail by 131 runs with just two wickets left.

Ben Foakes and Rory Burns were in the runs to leave SURREY’s clash with GLOUCESTER­SHIRE in the balance. Surrey lead by 126 with five wickets remaining.
