HE’S REBORn In THE USa

-

ADRIAN HEATH is in no hurry to return to English management after five successful years here at Minnesota.

The former Everton, Manchester City, Stoke and Burnley star is a respected boss in the USA – the fourth longest serving in the MLS. On the eve of the new season his hunger to take his club further still burns bright.

“I’m as excited today as I was 20 years ago,” said Heath. “I had belief that the league was going to grow and be what it has become. So yes I’m excited, I want to continue our journey.

“The big thing for me was being able to build Minnesota from the bottom. We had no academy or training facility and I played a part in that and we’ve got a waiting list of 12,000 for season tickets.”
