Stars ’n stripes in their eyes

-

MINNESOTA boss Adrian Heath has revealed his phone is ringing off the hook with managers in England chasing MLS talent.

After the success of stars in Europe like Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic

(below), Juventus youngster Weston McKennie and Bayern Munich’s Canadian wing-back Alphonso Davies, the American league is seen as a breeding ground for hot young talent.

Heath said: “I know from managers in

England ringing me all the time to ask about players out here all the top teams in Europe are scouting talent. The perception of the league is changing rapidly. I’ve been here 13 years and I’ve seen things change.

“And trust me, there are plenty of young players over here who could go into academies in England.”
