-

CHRIS BEECH was angry referee Seb Stockbridge did not show a second yellow card to Neal Eardley.

The defender went unpunished for a foul on Lewis Alessandra in the first half.

Scott Quigley and Patrick Brough scored for Barrow as Jack Armer and Offrande Zanzala netted for Carlisle. Beech said: “I was a little bit disappointed with the referee. I think he’s helped them out a lot there.”

Rob Kelly said: “I was pleased with the character.”

IAN EVATT was delighted to see his half-time team talk have the desired effect. Bolton trailed to Gethin Jones’ own goal but second-half strikes from Kieran Lee and Eoin

Doyle turned things around.

Evatt (left) said: “Thank goodness for half-time when I told them a few home truths. In the second half we were a different team.” Harrogate boss Simon Weaver admitted: “It was a really disappointing end to the game.”
