EXCLUSIVE

THE family of missing Brit Sarm Heslop have begged her lover to co-operate with police.

Former air hostess Sarm, 41, was reported missing by Ryan Bane in the US Virgin Islands six weeks ago.

Bane, 44, refuses to allow police to board his boat, where he says Sarm was last seen.

Sarm’s cousin-in-law Christine Heslop, 60, says her relatives are desperate for news.

Writing on Facebook, Christine said: “We need news, we need to find Sarm and bring her home. It’s been too long. We need to get on his boat.”

Sarm, from Southampton, and America Bane had been drinking in Cruz Bay, on the island of St John, before returning to his £500,000 catamaran, the Siren Song.

Bane has a previous conviction for assaulting his ex-wife.

Police spokesman Toby Derima said: “The investigation is ongoing and we’re still searching.”
