ALEX SANDERSON admits Sale must improve their discipline if they are to be genuine Premiership title challengers this season.

The Sharks had Rob du Preez (above) sent off in the first half for a tip-tackle on Val Rapava-Ruskin.

Faf de Klerk, Arron Reed and Marland Yarde all touched down, while AJ MacGinty kicked eight points, including the game-winning penalty.

Sale director of rugby Sanderson said: “We’re going to get caught out at some point. Our discipline does need to improve.”
