Watford in for Darlow
PROMOTION-chasing Watford are weighing up a move for Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow.
The Hornets, second in the Championship, are seeking a long-term replacement for 38-year-old Ben Foster.
Austrian keeper Daniel Bachmann, 26, is currently Watford’s first choice, but they have £6million-rated Darlow, 30, in their sights.
With Martin Dubravka, Darlow and Mark Gillespie, the Geordies will have four keepers when Freddie Woodman, 24, returns from a second season on loan to Swansea.
Woodman has impressed with Watford’s fellow promotion challengers and that could tempt Toon to cash in on Darlow.
