POG paY demand
PAUL POGBA is demanding a whopping £500,000-a-week to sign a new deal at Manchester United.
The Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola has told the Reds that they will have to make him the highest paid player in Old Trafford history for him to consider extending his stay beyond June 2022.
Real Madrid, Paris SaintGermain and Juventus have also been told by
Raiola of the cost of them securing the World Cup winner’s signature.
Add on lucrative image rights to that basic wage – and the 28-year-old (right) would be netting close to £800,000.
He knows that his next contract is likely to be the last major one of his career.
Pogba may decide to see out his time with United and walk away on a free in a year’s time to maximise his earning potential.
