Forest Green 3 Scunthorpe 2
JIMMY BALL insists he cannot think too far ahead after taking charge of Forest Green Rovers for the first time.
The son of England World Cup hero, Alan, got off to a flying start as interim boss through goals from Jordan MooreTaylor, Ebou Adams and Chris Stokes, with Harrison McGahey and Abo Eisa replying for Scunthorpe.
“The club is about the future, the ethos is about the future, but I can’t think like that at the moment,” said Ball.
“I’ve got to think about three points and giving this club the opportunity to be where it wants to be.”
