Johnson rap on India travel ban

GRIEVING families have accused Boris Johnson of putting Britain at the mercy of the Indian variant by acting too slowly on a travel ban.

India was only put on the “red list” on April 23, two weeks after Pakistan and Bangladesh, as the PM prepared for a trade visit there.

Bereaved Families for Justice said: “The Government has repeated mistakes that cost lives.”
