TELLY’S Tanya Bardsley is left blushing when her kids pester star neighbours for a footie kickabout.
The reality star is married to Burnley’s Phil Bardsley, who is always up for a game with sons Ralphi, four, Renz, seven, and 11-year-old Rocco.
But the boys have tried to rope in Man City goalkeeper Ederson, who lives within shouting distance.
And they used to pester their dad’s old Man United colleague Nemanja Vidic too, when he lived close by.
Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya said: “The kids used to go ‘Vidic, Vidic, do you want to come and play with me and my dad?’ and I used to have to drag them down. So embarrassing.
“Then we got the Man City goalkeeper, ‘Do you want to come and get in the net with me and me dad?’ I was like ‘Get down!’ Oh God. It is footballer central.”
Tanya was talking as Real Housewives returned to screens last week. Life these days is a far cry from her struggles as a single mum to Gabriella, her daughter from a previous relationship.
She added: “I always say to Phil, I don’t think other WAGs work as hard as me. I want to be a proper WAG – can I have a day off? I was a single mum, no money, I
SUNDAY MIRROR never turned down work, so I am constantly working and doing the mum.
“I’m scared of being in that place again – crying when I couldn’t afford Gabriella any toys for her birthday, that feeling you can’t afford to pay bills. So I never say no to work and I’m knackered.”
Tanya, who promotes luxury clothing and perfume firm Tanya Bardo Boutique, recently turned 40 and got a Lamborghini – starting price £170,000 – from Phil, 35.
But she admits sometimes feeling daft because it is so noisy.
She joked: “I’m dyslexic so I can’t spell it, but I can drive it.
“It is unbelievable. It is so fast though – I’m petrified in it. When I do the school run and I have to turn it on it is so embarrassing... I feel a right wally.”
Tanya also spoke about being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder after years of anxiety.
She added: My anxiety was just crippling. I went to see a specialist but I didn’t realise he was an ADHD specialist as well. He kept watching me, looking at my feet and stuff and I thought what is he looking at? Within 10 minutes he said I’m 99.9% sure you’ve got ADHD. One in four women undiagnosed commit suicide.
“It was a shock and relief to know.
“My husband is so supportive. I don’t know where I’d be without him.”
