Oh bullocks, the cows are loose again..
BULLOCKS tore up lawns after escpaing a field and wandering into a town.
The seven young cattle sampled horrified residents’ garden flowers and plants yesterday before being rounded up by cowherd Zowie Bell.
BBC journalist David Harrison, who gave a running commentary on Twitter, said: “At least 7 cows have managed to get themselves very lost & are now tearing apart lawns.”
Allan English, chairman of the Pasture Masters in Beverley, East Yorks, said: “Until the bullocks settle down they tend to ramble, they are like little kids.”
He added there were 300 cattle on the pasture to the west of the town and younger ones escape once or twice a season.
