Airport brawl leaves three badly injured
POLICE arrested 17 people after a brawl at an airport terminal left three people seriously hurt.
Footage shared on social media showed men punching, kicking and hitting each other with suitcases at Luton Airport at around 8am on Friday.
Other people could be heard shouting at the men to stop as they fought beside rows of chairs in the departure area.
The airport said it was “shocked and saddened by this isolated incident”.
It added: “We take a zero-tolerance approach to violence and continue to assist the police.”
Bedfordshire Police said: “Four people were injured, and three were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Subsequently, 17 people were arrested.”
