Is your pooch top dog?

I’m delighted to announce that, along with Stephen Fry, Graham Norton, Gabby Logan, Jeremy Vine, Jake Humphrey and Nigel Havers, I will be a judge for Britain’s Next Top Dog.

The project will help raise muchneeded funds for cancer research. Britain’s Next Top Dog is a photographic competition, broken up into six different categories. So we are scouring the nation for fabulous photographs of your canine companions… is your dog as gorgeous as my Vera?

The category winners will be judged by us, and the overall winner will be decided by a public vote.

The entry fee is £10, and all proceeds go to Cancer Research UK.

We want as many British dog owners as possible to submit their photos.

The competition is now open to all residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and will close on June 12.
