Locked down life makes us keen on clean
WORKING from home in lockdown has made us more house proud.
A third of us are inspired to have cleaner homes by influencers such as Mrs Hinch, and 29% want to stop the spread of viruses, a survey has discovered.
It found one in three people living in Sheffield give their house a complete clean every day.
Overall 62% have upped their cleaning game in the past year, wiping down kitchen surfaces on average seven times a day and plumping their sofa cushions an average of five times every day.
Lauren King, of cleaning experts Karcher which did the study, said: “This research shows that the cleanliness of our homes has become more important than ever before.”
