ADRIAN LAM insists his Wigan stars will revel in the abuse that will surely come their way tomorrow.

The most anticipated fixture in the calendar for Super League newcomers Leigh is surely this visit from rugby league giants

Wigan – and with 4,000 home fans allowed in, the atmosphere will be fiery.

But Warriors boss Lam urged the Centurions supporters to ‘bring it on’ because he feels his men are used to thriving in hostile games.

Lam said: “We cop it wherever we go, so we will be ready for it. We’re looking forward to people yelling from the sidelines, whether it’s abuse or whatever.

“Leigh are very vocal and there is a lot of emotion connected to this game for them. I am sure they will lift their team.

“It is a daunting place to travel to. But I welcome the fans back – the sooner we get back to normal the better.”

Wigan limped out of the Challenge Cup last weekend and Lam added: “The pain still lingers. We want to turn it around quickly.”

Leigh are boosted by the return of half-back Jamie Ellis. Brendan Elliot, Adam Sidlow, Joe Mellor and Ben Flower are still out.
