Hornets plan so Clever

WATFORD are set to hand midfielder Tom Cleverley a new deal after he helped them return to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old has just a season to run on his current deal at the end of this season.

But the Hornets want to tie him down for longer after he played such a key role in helping them clinch automatic promotion.

The former Manchester United and England ace moved to Vicarage Road in 2017 for around £8.4million.

Cleverley’s experience is a big positive and Watford are looking to add a further two years to his contract.
