Sutton get title boost

SUTTON took a huge step towards promotion to the EFL with a 3-0 win at Maidenhead yesterday.

David Ajiboye, Isaac Olaofe (above) and Louis John moved the National League leaders four points clear with two games to play, with Torquay facing play-off chasing Stockport today.

Hartlepool kept up their promotion push with a 3-1 win at Aldershot. Prolific pair Luke Armstrong and Rhys Oates were on target.

Wrexham came from behind to beat Boreham Wood 3-2 to move back into the play-off spots.

Reece Hall-Johnson scored twice while Jordan Ponticelli weighed in to seal the win.

Bromley secured a deserved point from a 2-2 draw with Notts County. The result sees Bromley just a point behind County, who drop to sixth.

Chesterfield’s goalless draw against Wealdstone kept them above Bromley in the play-off places.
