No Oasis of calm for Gallagher brothers

Liam hits back after Noel wades into Wills/Harry rift If anyone thought 2021 would be the year of an Oasis reunion, they can think again.

Noel Gallagher’s decision to wade into Prince Harry’s business left his brother Liam with the right royal hump.

Liam was stunned to read an interview with Noel in which the guitarist sympathised with Prince William for having a younger brother “shooting his f***ing mouth off ”.

The Supersonic singer hit back, comparing Noel to ex-Labour Prime Minister

Tony Blair, who was accused of betraying the party’s core values for success at the polls.

Liam says of his High Flying Birds brother: “He looks and acts like Tony Blair. He’s a square of the highest order.”

He joins a chorus of voices on social media who blasted Noel for supporting “morally ambiguous corporate giants”.

One says: “What better way to get noticed than to fall in with the rightwing press and have a go at Harry?”

In April, Noel admitted that he still thinks Blair is “great” and “the last person who made sense”.

Noel famously became an ally of the former Prime Minister during the mid1990s, even visiting Downing Street at the height of Cool Britannia.

Despite once proclaiming to be a man of the people, Tony now travels the world in private jets and enjoys lucrative speaking gigs. Labour supporter Liam has previously accused his older brother of selling out to corporate giants.

He once said: “I’m not saying you should be going out f ****** gobbing on people and f ***** swearing and s*** like that or whatever it is that people think we are, but… I’m more on about the corporate side of it.

“He seems very, he’s living in a world of, he’s living over there in that world, you know what I mean, and there’s no f ****** room for Oasis in that world as far as I’m concerned.

“I’d rather f ****** work in McDonald’s mate or get hit by a f ****** 18-wheeler at 100 miles an hour than bring my band and put it in that world.”

Some Might Say Liam is on to something...

What better way to get noticed than have a go at a prince?
