A JAILED thug tried to get parole – yet said he WON’T change his violent ways.
Ex-boxer Lee Cekic got 10 years for beating and stabbing his sister’s ex-boyfriend and locking him in the boot of a car.
Cekic has been inside since 2013 and applied for parole last year.
It was refused after a panel deemed he did not have enough “insight into the risk he posed”.
Cekic claimed that was unfair and appealed – triggering fears he could strike again when released. The Sunday Mirror previously told how Cekic, of Broadstairs, Kent, admitted GBH after leaving carpenter Joe Bath
BATTERED Victim Joe... and Sunday Mirror report on Cekic’s jail boast with two stab wounds to the head, two bleeds on the brains and a fractured skull. Cekic, 31, boasted on Facebook about his life in jail – five meals a day, a free gym and access to steroids. He added on Facebook:
“I won’t change, if anything I will be a lot worse... no doubt I will end up back in here for putting some next c*** in a boot but that’s just a normal day for me.”
Victim Joe, 34, from Margate, Kent, said: “He’s done all those years for nothing really. Clearly he won’t change. The Parole Board has seen that. I don’t think he should ever get out. If he does, it won’t be long before he goes back in. I have flashbacks and nightmares... but I’ve tried to get on with things and I’m doing well.”
Cekic’s appeal against the Parole Board’s decision was turned down.
The Board’s Cassie Williams said: “I do not consider the decision was irrational or procedurally unfair and accordingly the application for reconsideration is refused.”
Joe’s pub worker mum Deborah Bath, 60, said: “I’m glad the parole board stopped him.
“Whenever I see an ambulance, it reminds me of when police came to say Joe had been badly beaten up but was still breathing.”
