Bring home the bacon... as professional brekkie taster
A JOBS website is advertising for “builder’s breakfast tasters” – and successful applicants are expected to end up with a lot on their plate.
The ad says successful candidates will get paid £250 to travel the country eating fry-ups in a bid to find the best full English.
They must judge overall taste, value for money, quality of food, appearance and whether there are enough sausages, eggs and rashers of bacon on the plate. Jobs are available in Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Southampton and Plymouth. Tasters will be expected to eat at least five breakfasts in each city and will get expenses.
MyJobQuote.co.uk said applications must be submitted by August 31 and the site’s Heather Barrigan said: “If you love a full English breakfast this could be your dream job.”
