Homing in on the fairer sex and their city
Imagine if there was a city built in honour of women – a smart, green place where everyone was treated equally, regardless of gender.
It sounds like utopia, but it’s not wishful thinking.
Hera City is the brainchild of Marianela Mirpuri, a global businesswoman who is passionate about empowering women.
And she is committed to finding a location for the city and building it – with women leading the mission. Hera will have 17 development goals, including no poverty, no hunger, gender equality, peace and justice.
While the likes of Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and Elon Musk are flying into space, isn’t it fantastic this woman is trying to make the planet we live on a better place?
