Martin smashes the Ring record to pole

JORGE MARTIN clocked back-toback pole positions as he smashed the Red Bull Ring lap record ahead of today’s MotoGP of Austria.
Just a week since his maiden MotoGP win, the Pramac Ducati rider took command once again yesterday.
The Spaniard (above) said: “I’m living a dream – I hope we can battle for another podium.”

AUSTRALIA’S Jason O’Halloran stormed to his fourth consecutive Bennetts British Superbikes win at Donington Park.
But the McAMS Yamaha rider had to battle to see off Irishman Glenn Irwin’s Honda in a 20-lap scrap.
O’Halloran said: “I had a really strong pace, so I’m looking forward to the longer races over the rest of the weekend.”
