SOUTH AFRICA followed their Lions series win by beating Argentina in the Rugby Championship.

The Springboks defeated the Pumas 32-12 in Port Elizabeth yesterday – a week after edging out the Lions in dramatic fashion.

New Zealand ran in eight tries to earn a record victory against Australia and claim the Bledisloe Cup in their opening game. The All Blacks’ 57-22 rout was their highest-ever points tally against the Wallabies.

MOTORSPORT

BRITISH drivers Jake Dennis and Sam Bird are still in the mix to win the Formula E title in today’s season finale in Berlin.

BMW driver Dennis’s fifth-placed finish in yesterday’s first leg left him third in the standings, just four points behind leader Nyck De Vries.

Jaguar’s Bird has an outside chance of the crown, but needs a top-two finish and for others to buckle under pressure – 14 drivers can still mathematically win the title.
