1,500 rally to back spiked drink TV star
A LOVE Island star has received 1,500 messages of support after revealing she was a victim of spiking.
Sharon Gaffka, who appeared on the ITV show last year, is campaigning to raise awareness of the perils – and cut the stigma attached to people whose drinks are spiked.
The 25-year-old, from Didcot, Oxon, said friends found her unconscious in a toilet cubicle after her drink was drugged.
Sharon said she has since had kind messages from police officers and even a 14-year-old victim.
