Famous tiny park moved by six inches
THE world’s smallest park that measures just two feet wide has been moved six inches from its former location.
Mill Ends Park in Portland, Oregon, US, became a famous landmark when it received recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records in 1971.
The tiny circular patch of green, which has one small tree, was moved after the completion of a road construction project.
The park has a total surface area of 452 square inches, and bears a new sign and cloverleaf border.
A small rededication event is set to be held.
