MEMORY BOX: ECHOES OF 9/11

Survivors of 9/11 give searingly honest accounts of personal trauma in this touching documentary.
The memory box of the title was a wooden video booth created by artist Ruth Sergel months after the attacks and left in New York and, later, near the Pentagon.
The anonymity afforded by this simple idea had a therapeutic effect on people who visited it and their testimonies feel as unguarded as a church confessional.
The film revisits the same people 20 years later as they continue to try and make sense of that awful day.
