Gus backs Potter to fly higher
GRAHAM POTTER and Brighton are the perfect match, says former Albion manager Gus Poyet.
The Seagulls have been soaring up the Premier League table and managed an impressive 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Former Ostersund and Swansea chief Potter has been at the Amex since May 2019 and guided the south coast side to 16th spot last term.
Poyet, who managed the club from 2009-2013, said: “I’m sure that after a few years Brighton will always finish in the top half of the league. They just need to concentrate on what they’re doing, they’re doing a terrific job.
