Ipswich 2 Acc Stanley 1

-

KIERAN McKENNA was delighted with Ipswich’s response to falling behind at Portman Road.

Goals from Wes Burns and Conor Chaplin (below) gave Town the three vital points, after Accrington’s well-struck opener from Ethan Hamilton.

The boss said: “We had to scrap for it and thankfully the quality came through for the goals. “Obviously getting the first goal back quickly helped.”

Stanley manager John Coleman added: “If we keep playing like that we will win more matches than we don’t.”
