Man, 70, dies while having hol massage

A BRITISH pensioner has died while having a massage in Thailand.

The man, identified as Robert John Swain, 70, reportedly fell asleep then started choking.

Masseuse Miss Oraya, 39, told police she tried to save Mr Swain with chest compressions, but he was later pronounced dead by officers.

Investigating inspector, Lt Col Teetat Trunjan, said the pensioner’s cause of death was “still unclear”.

Mr Swain had arrived at the massage parlour, in Pattaya, on a rented motorbike. In recent years, the city has been trying to shake off its image as a place for sex tourism.
