ONE in eight job seekers lie on CVs, a poll has found

Most fib about hobbies and interests – one in 10 says they speak a foreign language, others play fictitious musical instruments and some even pretend to do charity work.

The poll, by teaching tool Babbel, also found men are more likely to make things up.
