JOEY BARTON expressed growing pride in his team as 10-man Bristol Rovers snatched victory over Walsall.

Luca Hoole was dismissed in the 38th minute, but Aaron Collins sealed it late on.

Barton said: “I’d have taken 0-0. I am so proud of my players and the way the club is developing.”

Walsall boss Matt Taylor said: “We should have more threat.”
